Bluefriars and its directors are committed to supporting charitable initiatives and organisations that make a meaningful difference within the wider community.
East of England
Ambulance Service
East of England is the NHS Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) that looks after most of Bluefriars’ employees. The trust charity is the primary source of funding for Community First Responders, trained medics who volunteer to respond to the most critical emergencies in their local communities. It also funds new equipment, looks after volunteer and full-time medics’ mental health and wellbeing, as well as providing community education and outreach.
Key Bluefriars employees regularly volunteer for the ambulance service and, subject to their work and family commitments, all Bluefriars’ employees and their partners are trained in basic life support (BLS) - what you might call CPR.

Crisis
Crisis is the national charity for the homeless. They work alongside people to rebuild their lives, finding suitable accommodation to help people off the streets through to supporting with a variety of social/health issues and onto stable employment.
